Sheet Metalwork

Sheet Metalwork

Stemming from our beginnings as coppersmiths, sheet metal work comes as second nature to us. Our experienced team of engineers and precision sheet metal workers can design and fabricate an array of bespoke items to your specifications. Using our extensive range of workshop equipment, we can cut, fold, roll and form a variety of different materials to produce one off assemblies or large quantity batches. Materials at our disposal include carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium and brass, and these can be supplied with a variety of surface finishes to suit your requirements.

With over 100 years' experience in sheet metal fabrication, we have worked on most types of projects. These have not only been in our workshop, but also on customers' sites across the country. The types of project range from small simple items, to large complex structures and include tanks, silos, ducting, cyclones, ramps, drip trays, flooring and bunds. If it can be made from sheet steel it can be made by Normnand and Thomson.

Although all of our tradesmen are able to prepare pattern templates manually, we have also invested in state of the art computer software. This allows us to prepare highly accurate templates for complex items in minutes. Use of this software reduces labour costs which would otherwise be passed onto the client, and allows us to maintain a high level of competitiveness with no sacrifice in quality.

Should any of these services be of interest to you, please contact our team who will be happy to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Our customers are at the centre of our business. Building lasting relationships by delivering excellent service and great quality is what we do.
